The five UCAT subtests
Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement — each with its own time box, and the question counts have run at roughly: VR ~44 questions in ~21 minutes, DM ~45 questions in ~31 minutes, QR ~36 in ~25, AR ~50 in ~12, and SJT ~69 in ~26 (about 2 hours total) in recent papers.
The 300–900 standardised scale is subtest-specific, and the SJT band is separate; what decides your shortlist is your whole profile across all four plus SJT.
